Bio
My name is Shaun Maurice
I was born in the dynamic borough of Queens, New York City. My academic journey led me to Alfred University, where I pursued a major in Psychology and a minor in Theater. Through rigorous coursework, I gained a profound understanding of human cognition and behavior, complemented by practical experience in acting and directing.
While at Alfred, I delved into the art of method acting, embracing Stanislavski's techniques to cultivate authentic character portrayal. Inspired by contemporary directors like James Mangold, Christopher Nolan, and Jordan Peele, I gravitated towards narratives exploring dark psychology, horror, and action, drawn to stories of drama, love amidst tragedy, redemption, and struggle.
As I embark on the next phase of my career, I am eager to transition into television and film. I aspire to breathe life into the captivating characters crafted by visionary storytellers, infusing them with depth and vitality. With each role, I aim to fulfill my passion for storytelling, touching audiences with narratives that resonate on a profound level. This journey represents a new chapter in my life—a pursuit of realizing extraordinary characters and bringing them to life on screen.
